Hmmm… what to say??These “about” sections always leave me stumped.I am a wedding and portrait photographer living in Seattle, WA. MY WEBSITE IS WWW.REBECCAELLISON.COM I call the West Seattle neighborhood home, but I love all of Seattle. I grew up in Tucson, AZ but have been living in WA since 1998 and I am still working on getting used to the cold weather. You would think after 10 years, I’d have it down, but warm weather runs in my blood!
I have always loved photography and shortly after I graduated from high school, I decided that there isn’t anything better than doing what you love for a living. I got my degree in Commercial Photography in 2005 and have been shooting and playing ever since. I love working in both the portrait/wedding and the commercial side of this industry. There is nothing like working with regular people that just want to have a good time and get some pictures out of it, but there is also nothing like getting paid to go to some crazy location and working on some sort of editorial or ad campaign…I’ve been married for 2 wonderful years and it was at my wedding that I really really started liking wedding photography. I had shot quite a few weddings before then, but didn’t have the respect of what the day truly means until I was a bride myself. My husband Pete, is a German specialty technician and we both have a deep love for Volkswagens. As a side venture, we love going on Volkswagen drives and taking pictures of all the beautiful cars…Well, now that I have rambled on… I am done
