Mothers Day

I had the luckiness to see my little niece and my brother and sister in law on Mothers Day this year. Audrey (my niece) is my little muse. I can’t seem to not take great pics of her ever, so here are some! My sis-in-law Erica is preggers with babie Annie right now and is less than a month from birth now. So we wanted to get some shots of Audrey kissing her sissy. They are the cutest family and I count my blessings that I get to be related to them!

this profile of Audrey is one  my most favorite

then there is one of my dad… just cuz he’s so handsome (and one of the rare times I get him without him making some crazy face)

Working with Barbie Hull Photography

I had the privilege the other week to work with Barbie Hull  of Barbie Hull Photography on May 24. She is an amazing photographer here in town and I am very happy to have had the chance to assist for her and do a little 2nd shooting too. The wedding was at St Johns Cathedral in Capital Hill just a short jaunt from downtown. This cathedral was probably one of the most beautiful churches I have had the chance to work in yet. Michele and Paul got ready at the Hotel Alexis, married at St Johns Cathedral and had their reception at Hotel 1000 in downtown Seattle. When I am working with another photographer, I tend to try and capture more of the details since they are there to capture all of the regular wedding happenings. Its a nice change to be able to shoot and work more on the sidelines sometimes.

Here are some of my favorites!

Annie and Casey: Engaged!

Its been a while since I have had time to blog! Been a bit busy and I’ve been wanting to post something new for a while…. So here we are!

I’m shooting Annie and Casey’s wedding in July of this year and we knew that we were running out of time to shoot their engagement pics. We all were hoping for a sunny day so that we could get some fun sunset pictures, but alas, since we live in the Seattle area, it didn’t look likely to happen. After rescheduling twice we decided to just go out and have fun in the weather that we had… which if anyone knows Seattle…. it was rainy :)  We went to the Olympic Sculpture Park in by the Seattle waterfront and played with what we had.It ended up being really fun.  Here are some of my faves

There were a bunch of red chairs on a patio that I wanted to incorporate in some of the pictures too.

more red chairs!
